Since I'm not much of a wordsmith let me bottom-line it for us fathers with this question -- What kind of legacy are you leaving for your children? Long after you have left this world, how are your kids going to remember your life? In asking myself this question here are some first thoughts in no particular order:
- Dad smiled a lot.
- He was able to make the tough decisions.
- He was forgiving.
- He could clap loud.
- He trusted God completely.
- He loved mom with all he had.
- He thought he was cool.
