There once was a manWhose grass was turning yellow
They had one dog
Whose urine would not mellow
Then one day
Right out of the blue
His family came to say
We want more poo
What they actually wanted
Was another dog you see
This man would be haunted
By double the pee!
He stood his ground
A dog they would not get
Another hound
This man would regret
Something happened inside
No longer standing his ground
With nowhere to hide
They would look at this hound
The man drove many miles
The word "sucker"on his forehead
The kids were all smiles
His grass will be dead
They bought the puppy that day
I know, how can that be?
The man said no way
A Sucker is he.

We are picking up this puppy next week...help us all.

Ahhh CUTE. Congrats to the new addition. We have two dogs and my son is in love with both. It's great to have a family pet.

Ode to the sucker is excellent prose and well read. Kids have this power over their parents no one can explain. Love, Dad
oh man, as a holdout myself, this post worries me. I foresee a yellow yard in my future, but hopefully not the too near future.
I have a cat and a dog and I had sucker written on my forehead walking out of the pound. We had gone for a cat. We told the girls just the cat, no dog. That worked out well, didn't it.

BTW, your new puppy is very cute. I hope you enjoy him despite more poo and yellow grass. I do feel your pain though.
